We use the following channels to collect non-personal data:

• Google Adwords – Premier Bedrooms conducts external digital marketing through Google Adwords, which is defined by Google as “an online advertising service where advertisers (in this case, Premier Bedrooms) pay to display brief advertising copy, product listings and video consent within the Google ad network to relevant web users”.

We aim to target our advertising campaigns specifically to people who have already shown an interest in Premier Bedrooms to make it more relevant to them.

• Google Analytics – In keeping with our dedication to providing only relevant and engaging content on our website, Premier Bedrooms uses a third-party service called Google Analytics to collect information such as website visitor behaviour patterns and user journeys when on the premierbedrooms.com site.

This uses your unique numerical identifier rather than your personal information (meaning you can’t and won’t be identified by or any personal information), but allows us to monitor things like tracking and conversion data.

• Google Remarketing – Premier Bedrooms uses the Google Remarketing service to advertise on third party websites to people we already know have visited the Premier Bedrooms website. Using the non-personal data we collect through the use of cookies, we are able to target people who have recently visited the Premier Bedrooms website, and serve them with a relevant advertisement based on their past viewing habits. These remarketing ads can appear on an organic Google search engine results page, or within the Google Display Network.

This is in keeping with our overarching Cookie Policy, and with Google’s own Privacy and Cookie Policy.

• Facebook Pixel – Premier Bedrooms use Facebook as an advertising platform, which is facilitated by Facebook’s in-built conversion tracking pixel. This allows us to follow the vieiwing habits of users when they access the Premier Bedrooms site through Facebook advertisements. We do this to monitor the effectiveness of the adverts we show on Facebook, with the resultant statistical data we collect used for research purposes.

How will we use your information?

Data Protection says that we are allowed to use and share your personal data only where we have a proper reason to do so, which include one or more of the following:

• Contract – the processing of your personal information in order to fulfil a contractual arrangement.

Active opt-in policy

To ensure we are fully compliant with GDPR regulations, we have now made sure that every form on the Premier Bedrooms website contains an active opt-in.
